Over time, carpet may loosen, either due to foot traffic, humidity or poor initial installation. When this happens, the carpet can be power stretched to eliminate ripples, lumps and improperly tacked areas of carpet, adding years to the life of the carpet and making your home or business a safer place.

Carpet Patching

To repair carpet which has been physically damaged, or permenantly discolored, we offer patching, where the damaged section of carpet is replaced with an undamaged peice, generally taken from left over carpet after initial installation, or when necessary the back of a closet. To get a patch just right takes quite a bit of skill and could be considered an art. Fortunately, we have mastered this art over the years, and in many cases our patches are invisible after the work is completed.

Carpet Seam Repairs

Seams can split apart in high traffic areas, or where the carpet was improperly laid. These can be repaired adding years to the life of your carpet. Like Patching, seam repair involves a good bit of skill to get it right, especially on carpets such as berbers where the threads must be lined up perfectly.

Speciality Repairs and Berbers

Berbers and speciality carpets often take a special degree of skill to fix, due to the nature of these carpets and rugs. Gordon Harlow has been repairing carpets since the mid 80's and over the years has mastered the skills necessary to repair these tricky carpet problems.
